1. The difference between a traditional or
conventional face-to-face education and distance education is that
traditional or conventional face-to-face education requires the physical
appearance of the students and the instructor while distance education only
requires the availability of both of its key players, providing more convenient
education.
2. Some benefits of distance learning is
that it is available for everyone even if someone is disabled, because distance
education can be done on the most convenient time and place of the learner;
also this is designed for slow and fast learners because this reduces stress
and increases satisfaction.
3. The four types of interaction result to
reciprocal exchange of communication and understanding of the course content
are the following: learner-content interaction happens on the understanding of
the content of the learner; learner-instructor, happens on facilitating the
needs of the learner by the instructor; learner-learner, this involves the use
of computer or any form of technology to make the distance education possible.
4. As quoted, “no man is an island”, we
humans forcefully communicate with one another to satisfy our wants and needs.
Nowadays, communication with different people within the reach or even without
the reach of our eyes is now possible through the use of technology. Sort of
technological gadgets provides us a more convenient ways of communication like
our cellular phones, the computer through the internet and many more; with a
blink of an eye, we can connect to other people even if it is a mile or
hundreds of mile away. Hence, some application provides us a more exciting and
more convenient mode of communication. Thus, it can give us positive and
negative outcomes, it depends on us if how we control and manage it because all
things have its own limitations.
